Founder and Owner
Originally from the Newmarket/Sharon area, Kyle Beatty found his passion for landscaping while working summer jobs to pay for university. Despite starting his studies in Biology at the University of Western Ontario, Kyle graduated with a degree in Political Sciences and French in 2007.
It was during those summer jobs that he realized his love for working with his hands and transforming spaces. After spending 11 years with a previous employer and honing his skills on high-end projects, Kyle founded SSLC in 2016. One of his favorite projects involved crafting a stunning natural stone landscape in Baysville, which stands out as a career highlight.
Kyle is married with two daughters, Samira and Fiona . He enjoys taking his car to the race track, snowmobiling, ATVing, working out, and spending time by the water with his family. His journey from academia to a hands-on landscaping career showcases his dedication to creating beautiful, lasting outdoor spaces.

Site Supervisor and Co-Owner
An Aurora, Ontario native, Chad Beal transitioned from competitive hockey to a successful career in landscaping. After discovering his passion for landscaping through a summer job, he pursued construction skills at Fleming College, focusing on pool work.
Chad thrives on turning clients' dreams into reality and enjoys the responsibilities of co-owning SSLC. His favorite project so far has been the Takahashi residence, reflecting his expertise and dedication.
Chad is married with two children, Isabella and Mia, and a dog named Lola. He loves outdoor activities like water sports, snowmobiling, ATVing, fishing, and hunting, which provide a perfect escape from his busy professional life.
